The Epistar company is one of the major manufacturers of LED (Light-Emitting Diode) devices in the market today. The company started in 1996 by a group of visionaries who predicted that the future for LED and solid state lighting would be lucrative and very bright. Since its inception, Epistar has grown into a full-fledge manufacturing company with working partnerships with some of the largest brands in the world.
Today, Epistar’s products are used in countless LED-based products that range from lighting devices to laptops, television to cell phone screens and many others. The underlying philosophy which makes Epistar a popular choice for partnership is within its strong client-supplier relationship. It is the commitment by Epistar that prioritizes the clients and involvement of producing high-quality products which makes them a preferred choice.
Through its own proprietary ‘Co-Activation Service Model’, Epistar engages the clients as their partner and co-designers to produce chips that are practical and affordable while ensuring that they are of the highest quality. This close-knitted model ensures that clients are part of the entire manufacturing process and provides Epistar with the platform to continuously improve and enhance their products and services.
The main business strategy that Epistar practices is called the ‘Stick-to-Core Technology and Strategic Alliance’ where it focuses a lot on research and development and on product quality. Hence, not many companies today can stake its claim in the LED industry the way that Epistar can mainly because it started off as a LED-production firm and has continued to grow from there. With LED devices becoming more and more popular and its benefits becoming a lot more known, this provides Epistar with the opportunity to expand its business to more markets. Having started in this industry and been through the maturity stages, Epistar is now more than ready to take on more challenges where it has the expertise and experience to.
